Solution
Viruses:
Viruses are the smallest organisms that are considered to live only inside the host.
The genetic components like RNA or DNA are present in viruses with protein coat.
For their replication, viruses use host machinery.
Ways in which enveloped viruses can enter cells after binding to their receptors are as follows:
Fusion: When the viruses bind to the receptors and fuse with the host cell that is the virus component fully goes into the host cell but almost enveloped viruses undergo endocytosis.
Endocytosis: In endocytosis, the virus's genetic particles will be sent into the host cell where the virus first attaches to the host cell then clusters its receptors, and then delivers the viral genetic component.
