Angina Pectoris:

1. Angina pectoris or chest pain is the discomfort arising as a result of the coronary heart diseases.
2. It happens when the muscles of the heart are not supplied with adequate blood due to the blocking or narrowing of one or more arteries of the heart.
3. This is also referred to as ischemia.

Causes:

1. It is primarily attributed to an unhealthy diet.
2. Arteries tend to get narrow due to the accumulation of fatty substances which leads to a condition known as atherosclerosis.
