Solution

Commutative law gives,

a × b × c = (a ×b) × c
= a × (b × c)
= b × (a × c)

Applying (a × b) × c

1.1 × 0.1 × (-0.01) =

(a × b) = 1.1 × 0.1 = 0.11

(a × b) × c = 0.11 × (-0.01)
= -0.0011

1.1 × 0.1 × (-0.01) = -0.0011
