The correct option is B 0oC
The latent heat of ice is 80 kcal/kg, it means 80 kcal.
Heat is required to melt the ice at 0oC in water at 0oC.
Now heat given by 1 kg of water, when its temperature decreases to the temperature of ice (0oC)
Q=1×1×(100)=10 kcal
As we can see that heat provided by water is less than the heat required to change the ice completely in water. Therefore, final temperature will be 0oC.
