10ml of 20N H2SO4 were mixed with 100ml of 1N NaOH
Equivalents of H2SO4=20×101000=0.2 equivalents
Equivalents of NaOH=1×1001000=0.1 equivalents
Hence, to neutralise 0.2 equivalents of acid 0.2 equivalents NaOH will be needed. Thus, excess of acid is left and solution is acidic.
