Step 1, Given data

Body covers 10 m in 2nd second and 25 m in 5th second

Step 2, Finding the acceleration

We know,
Sn=u+a2(2n1)

From 2nd second,

10=u+a2×3(1)

From 5th second,

25=u+a2×9(2)

Subtracting equation (1) from (2), we get

15=a2×6

a=5 m/s2

Substituting the value of a in equation (1) we get,

u=2.5 m/s

Step 3, Finding the distance traveled

For 7th second,

Sn=u+a2(2n1)

Sn=2.5+52(2×71)=35 m

Hence the distance traveled in 7th second is 35 m
