B's 1 day's work $=\frac{1}{12}$

A,B and C's 1 days work $=\frac{1}{6}$

$\therefore$ C's 1 days work $=\frac{1}{6}-(\frac{1}{16}+\frac{1}{12})$

$=\frac{1}{6}-\frac{1}{16}-\frac{1}{12}$

$=\frac{8-3-4}{48}=\frac{1}{48}$

$\therefore$ C can finish the work in =48 days
