Length of the room $=12.5$ m

breadth of the room $=10.5$ m

$\therefore$ Area of the room = $l\times b$

$=12.5\times 10.5$

$=131.25m^2$

Length of the verandah = $12.5+2+2$

$=12.5+4$

$=16.5m$

breadth of the verandah = $10.5+2+2$

$=10.5+4$

$=14.5$

Area $=l\times b$

$=16.5\times 14.5$

$=239.25m^2$

Area of verandah = $239.25-131.25$

$=108m^2$

$\therefore$ Area of verandah = $108m^2$
