Solution

The correct option is D
Anticodon
Nonsense codon
A codon can be defined as a triplet sequence of nitrogenous bases in mRNA copied from DNA which codes for a particular amino acid. The stop codons (UAA, UGA and UAG) were said to be nonsense codons as they did not code for any amino acid.

Anticodon
1.Anticodon loop is the loop of the tRNA that carries a sequence of 3 nucleotides that are complementary to the codon present on the mRNA.
2.This sequence is known as the anticodon and is complementary and anti parallel to the codon in mRNA.
3.tRNA reads the code from the mRNA and brings the respective amino acid to the ribosomal site and base pairs with the codon of the mRNA at the site with the help of its anticodon sequence.
