Human brain is broadly divided into fore-brain, mid-brain and hind-brain.​ ​
Fore-brain consists of cerebrum, thalamus and hypothalamus part of the brain.​
Mid-brain is the middle part of the brain that regulates the impulse travelling to and from the brain and spinal cord.​
Hind-brain consists of pons, medulla and cerebellum.
