Solution

It is a weak acid.

FeCl3 is a lewis acid as it can aacept a pair of electron.
FeCl3 can be considered as a salt of Fe(OH)3 (a weak base) and HCl (a strong acid). Hence a solution of FeCl3 will be weakly acidic.
Fe(OH)3 + 3HCl --> FeCl3 + 3H2O
