Open in App
Solution

Humans:

  1. Humans are vertebrates that belong to the Hominidae family.
  2. Autotrophs are organisms that can synthesize their own food using light, inorganic substances such as CO2, H2O, minerals, etc.
  3. Example: plants, algae.
  4. Humans are not autotrophs. They depend on other organisms to derive nutrition from them; hence they are known as heterotrophs.
  5. Humans obtain nutrition from plants and animals, hence called omnivores.
