The denominator of the given fractions is 5.

Also, $\frac{2}{5},\frac{3}{5},\frac{4}{5}$ are less than one.

So, we divide the gap between 0 and 1(on the number line) into 5 equal parts.

Now, $\frac{8}{5}$ is an improper fraction(fractions having numerator greater than the denominator).

So we will first convert it into a mixed fraction.

To convert an improper fraction into mixed fraction we follow the given steps:

(i) Divide the numerator by the divisor, to obtain the quotient and the remainder.

(ii) The mixed fraction is represented as $\text{Quotient}\frac{\text{remainder}}{\text{divisor}}$.

$\therefore$, $\frac{8}{5}$ can be written as $1\frac{3}{5}$.

To represent $1\frac{3}{5}$ on the number line, we will divide the length between 1 and 2(on the number line), into five equal parts.
