We have to represent the fractions 25, 35, 85, 45 on the number line.

Now, 85 is an improper fraction(fractions having numerator greater than the denominator).
So we will first convert it into a mixed fraction.
To convert an improper fraction into mixed fraction we follow the given steps:
(i) Divide the numerator by the divisor, to obtain the quotient and the remainder.
(ii) The mixed fraction is represented as Quotientremainderdivisor.
∴, 85 can be written as 135.
To represent 135 on the number line, we will divide the length between 1 and 2(on the number line), into five equal parts.
