Chemical formulae for potassium arsenate should be K_3AsO_4 Where Potassium is K^+ and arsenate is AsO_4^{3-} . But the correct formula of potassium arsenate is written to be KH_2AsO_4 .What is the reason for adding hydrogen in this exception ? Why is it applicable for higher order metals like sodium and potassium ?
