  1. Any ray of light that passes through the principal focus, is always parallel to the principal axis.
  2. Any ray of light that is parallel to the principal axis, always passes through the principal focus of the mirror after reflection.
  3. The intersecting point of reflected light rays is called the image.

Characteristics of image:

  1. Real image.
  2. Inverted image.
  3. Enlarged image.
  4. An image formed beyond the center of curvature.
