Motor neurons:

1. Motor nerves are made up of motor neurons, which carry impulses from the brain and spinal cord to the muscles and glands.
2. Nerves to salivary glands and the muscles of the eyeball are examples of motor nerves.
3. These nerves control muscle contraction allowing movements such as walking, kicking and wiggling fingers.
