We have to derive the first equation of Motion:

It is given as $v=u+at$

Derivation -
Consider a body of mass “m” having initial velocity “u”.

Let after time “t” its final velocity becomes “v” due to uniform acceleration “a”.

Now we know that:

$Acceleration\left(a\right)=\frac{Changeinvelocity}{Time}$

We can now write

$a=\frac{v-u}{t}$

Or,

$v-u=at$

$Or,v=u+at$

Above is the first equation of motion

Hence proved.
