These are plant-eating animals ( herbivores) that eat the plants directly or eat their products such as fruits, flowers, etc.​

Secondary consumers are animals that feed on the herbivores and they are called carnivores.​

The animals that obtain their food by eating primary and secondary consumers,are called tertiary consumers or top carnivores.​

Example: Grasshopper, rat, deer, etc.​

Example: Snake, lizard, etc.​

Example: Peacock, eagle, etc.​
