  4. The gynoecium is the female reproductive part of the flower and is known as the carpel, the parts of the carpel are stigma, style, and ovary.
  5. The gluey knob at the top of the pistil is the stigma, which is associated with the long, tube-like composition called the style.
  6. The style reaches the ovary, which comprises the female egg cells known as ovules.
  7. The enlarged basal part of the pistil, that is, the female part of a flower is the ovary. It comprises ovules, which develop into seeds.
