We can use the following laws of reflection to draw the image formation in plane mirror:

1. the angle of the reflected ray is equal to the angle of the incident ray, with respect to the normal to the surface
2. The reflected ray is always in the plane defined by the incident ray and the normal to the surface at the point of contact of the incident ray

Properties of the image in plane mirror:

1. Image will be laterally inverted.
2. Image is formed at the same distance from the mirror where the object is placed at.
