STEP 1:Draw a $△PQR$.

STEP 2:At Q draw an arc with any radius to intersect $QR$ at $X$ and $PQ$ at $Y$.

STEP 3:With the same radius draw an arc at $P$ opposite to the arc $XY$ which intersects $PQ$ at $M$.

STEP 4:Now measure the arc $XY$.

STEP 5:With the same measure draw an arc intersecting the previous arc at $N$.

STEP 6:By joining $P$ to $N$ we get a line $AB$ which is parallel to $QR$.

Hence $AB$ is the required line.
