Electric cell
It is a device that converts chemical energy into electrical energy. When connected to a circuit, it acts as a source of current.
Switch in off position
A switch in off position means that it has broken the circuit and does not allow the current to pass through. Due to this there is no flow of current in a circuit.
Electric bulb
It is a device that gives electric light. It has a wire filament that has been heated till it glows. In order to protect the filament from oxidation, it is contained in a glass bulb containing an inert gas.
Battery
It is a combination of one or more cells whose chemical reaction creates the flow of electrons to give current in a circuit.
