Evaluate for the required value:

Given expression is 13÷(-2)+1

First, resolve the expression in brackets in accordance with the BODMAS rule.

13÷(-2)+1=13÷-1

According to the division rule, we must first divide the two integers into whole numbers before adding the minus sign (-) to the quotient when we divide a positive integer by a negative integer.

13÷-1=-131=-13

Hence the required value is -13.
