Solution

Solar system:

  1. Our solar system is made up of the Sun, the eight planets, their moons, asteroids, comets, and meteors.
  2. Our solar system's largest star is the Sun. The Sun's diameter is 109 times that of the Earth's. The Sun is roughly 300,000 times heavier than the Earth. The Sun is a massive bright ball made up of hydrogen and helium gases. It is the primary energy source. The Sun is responsible for the formation of day and night, the change of seasons, and the formation of rain. Solar energy is essential to all living things.
  3. A planet is a solid heavenly body that revolves around the Sun in a closed circular orbit. The earth is one of eight planets in total. Except for Venus, which rotates from east to west, all planets rotate from west to east. The planets' positions with respect to the Earth change on a daily basis due to their varying speeds. The planets are known as Grahas in Indian.
  4. Asteroids are small pieces of rock or metal that revolve around the Sun between Mars and Jupiter.Comets are bright star-like objects with a long tail that orbit the Sun in a highly elliptical orbit.

In the Solar System, there are three types of Planets:

They are:

Terrestrial Planets - Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars.

Heavier Planets - Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus.

Dwarf Planets - Yama, Pluto etc.
