Solution

Gravitation:

  1. Gravitation is an attractive force.
  2. Gravitation is responsible for attracting two bodies with respective masses towards each other.
  3. Therefore, every particle made up of matter exerts a gravitational force on every other particle in the universe.
  4. Gravitation does not require any medium.
  5. If m1 and m2 are the masses of the two bodies and r is the distance between them, then according to the universal law of gravitation, the gravitational force exerted by these two masses towards each other is, F=Gm1m2r2 where G is the universal gravitational constant.
