Area (ΔADC)=12×(base)× (corresponding height)

16=12×AC×DE

16×2=AC×4

AC=8cm.

In Area of ΔABC:a=15,b=17,c=8

s=a+b+c2=17+15+82=402=20

Area =s(sa)(sb)(sc)

=20×(2015)×(2017)×(208)

=20×5×3×12

=5×5×2×2×3×3×2×2

=5×2×3×2=60 cm2

Area of quadrilateral ABCD =60 cm2+16 cm2=76 cm2
