Find the solution of the form x=a,b=0 and x=0,y=b for the following pairs of equation . Do they have any common each solution.
[i] 3x+2y=6
[ii]5x+2y=10.

1) 3x + 2y = 6
Substituting x = 0 in the equation
3×0 + 2×y = 6
y= 6/2
y = 3
(0,3) is the solution
Substituting y =0 in the equation
3×X + y×0 = 6
X = 6/3
X= 2
(2,0) is the solution

2) 5x + 2y = 10
substituting x = 0 in the equation
5× 0 + 2y = 10
2y = 10
y = 5
(0,5) is the solution

Substituting y= 0 in the solution
5x + y×0 = 10
x = 10/ 5
X = 2
(2,0) is the solution
