Step up transformer:
It is a device used to increase the output voltage.
So there are more secondary windings than primary windings.
We know,
$\frac{V_{S}}{V_{P}} = \frac{N_{S}}{N_{P}} = \frac{I_{P}}{I_{S}}$
where $V_{P}, N_{P}$ and $I_{P}$ are the voltage, number of turns, and current in primary coil and $V_{S}, N_{S}$ and $I_{S}$ are the voltage, number of turns, and current in secondary coil respectively
In case of a step up transformer, $V_{S} > V_{P} \Rightarrow N_{S} > N_{P}$
Therefore, the number of turns in the secondary coil is more than in the primary coil.
