Imbricate Aestivation:

Out of 5 petals of a flower bud, the standard petal overlaps the two wing  petals which in turn overlaps two smaller keel petals. This type of  aestivation is called:
  1. In a flower bud, aestivation is the placement of accessory floral organs (sepals or petals) in relation to one another.
  2. The kind might be valvate, open, imbricate, or twisted.
  3. Imbricate aestivation occurs when the margins of petals or sepals overlap without a defined direction.

Example:
