From the second row of multiplication, we can conclude: P $\times$ P = P (in units place). So, P can be either 1 or 6 ( because 1 $\times$ 1 = 1 and 6$\times$ 6 = 36 )...........................(I)

From the first row of multiplication, we can conclude: N $\times$ P = N (units place)

From the second row of multiplication, we can conclude: P $\times$ N gives Q in units place $\therefore$ there must be carry over generated in the previous multiplication, which is P $\times$ P......................(II)
