The correct option is
A I - pollution, II - deforestation
Urbanization is the process by which large numbers of people become permanently concentrated in relatively small areas, forming cities. Growing urbanization is the expansion of cities and towns.
Growing population needs more land to build houses, roads, buildings and other settlements. So, they cut down trees or clear forests to obtain land for several construction activities. This leads to deforestation.
Deforestation is the conversion of forested areas into non-forested areas. Open spaces thus obtained are used for agriculture, housing, industry, building roads and railways. Deforestation results in an increase in the amount of carbon dioxide, which leads to a rise in temperature and causes pollution.
Figure : Reasons for deforestation
Plants and trees perform the function of taking in carbon dioxide and giving out oxygen. As the number of plants and trees are decreased, the carbon dioxide in the air increases and this leads to pollution.

Reforestation refers to the process of growing a forest that once existed but was removed at some point of time in the past. Afforestation refers to the process of growing forest over an area where no forest existed earlier. Hence option b and c are incorrect.
A hurricane is a tropical storm with winds that have reached a constant speed of 74 miles per hour or more. Hurricanes form when warm moist air over water begins to rise. The rising air is replaced by cooler air. This process continues to grow large clouds and thunderstorms. These thunderstorms continue to grow and begin to rotate and form hurricanes. Hence option d is incorrect.
