Open in App
Solution

Ciliary body:

  1. The ciliary body is related to the structure of our eye.
  2. The ciliary body is the extension of the iris.
  3. Iris is a part of the middle layer of the eyeball.
  4. It is the coloured part of the eyeball.
  5. The ciliary body includes two parts: ciliary muscles and ciliary processes.
  6. Ciliary muscles can control the size of the lens.
  7. While we are focusing on the things closer to us, the muscles get constricted and the lens becomes round-shaped.
  8. While we are trying to focus on things at a distance the muscles get relaxed and the lens becomes flat.
  9. This is called the accommodation of the lens.
  10. Thus, they help us to see.
