Solution

Finding volume from area:

Area of any given object is the area or region occupied by the surface of the object.

Volume is the amount of space available in an object.

We can evaluate the volume of the prism, if we know its surface area or area .

Area of prism= Length x width

Now, volume of prism is equal to product of area and height

Volume =Area of rectangular face x Height of prism

Volume = Length x Width x Height

Hence volume of prism is equal to product of area of its face and height ,so we can find Volume from Area.
