Solution

Eyes:

  1. The eyes are very sensitive and necessary sensory organs that provide vision to all organisms.
  2. The retina, lens, cornea, eyeball, ciliary muscle, and other components of the eye are listed below.
  3. The eye contains a fluid known as aqueous humor, which is necessary for maintaining eye health.

Aqueous Humor:

  1. It is a clear fluid found in the eye, particularly in the anterior and posterior chambers.
  2. The ciliary body in the eyes produces this liquor. It serves as the camera's film at the back of the retina.
  3. It is constantly produced in the posterior chamber and flows into the anterior chamber via the pupil.
  4. It's situated between the lens and the retina.
  5. It serves as a reflective medium as well as a refractive medium.
  6. It maintains the eyeball by regulating its shape and size while also regulating intraocular pressure.
  7. It protects the eyes by blocking dust, bacteria, and other particles, as well as aiding in eye protection.
  8. It nourishes and oxygenates ocular tissue such as the posterior cornea, trabecular meshwork, and lens.
  9. It also aids in the removal of metabolic waste from intraocular cells.
