Solution

Dear Student,

Biological magnification is defined as the accumulation and transfer of toxic substances from one trophic level to another.
This can be prevented by following ways:

a) By eliminating the pollutants from the atmosphere so they can not release to the nearby resources such as river, lakes.
b) By avoiding the use of toxic chemicals or cleaning agents.
c) By minimizing the use of pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, etc. Instead, make compost from biological waste and use animal dung as manure or fertilizer.
d) Sewage treatment plants can be used to remove the contaminants from the water.
e) By avoiding the usage of plastics.
