We know that product of zeroes = $\frac{c}{a}$
( α × $\frac{1}{α}$ ) = $\frac{(k - 4)}{4}$
⇒ 1 = $\frac{(k - 4)}{4}$
⇒ 4 = (k − 4)
∴ k = 8
