If A = {x:x2−5x+6=0}, B = {2,4} , C = {4,5}, then A×(B∩C) is ___
{(2, 4), (3, 4)}
Given, A = {x:x2−5x+6=0}
∴ The elements of A are the roots of x2−5x+6=0
x2−5x+6=0⇒(x−3)(x−2)=0⇒x=3 and 2
∴ A = {2,3} , B = {2,4}, C = {4,5}
⇒B∩C = {4}
∴A×(B∩C) = {2, 3} × {4}
= {(2,4), (3,4)}
