If aybxc=cxazb=bzcya show that xa=yb=zc

Open in App
Solution

Let aybxc=cxazb=bzcya=k
aybx=ckaybxab=ckabybxa=ckab....(1)cxaz=bkcxazac=bkacxazz=bkac....(2)bzcy=akbzcybc=akbczcyb=akbc....(3)
adding (1),(2),(3) we get
ybxa+xazc+zcyb=ckab+bkac+akbc(a2+b2+c2)kabc=0
as a2+b2+c20 so k=0
so aybxc=0aybx=0ay=bxxa=yb....(4)
similarily cxazb=0cxaz=0cx=azxa=zc....(5)
from (4),(5) xa=yb=zc
(Hence proved)
