Question

If f:NN be a function defined by f(x) = x2 + x, then find f(-2).f(2) + f(3).

Open in App
Solution

f:NN is a function defined by f(x) = x2 + x

f(-2) = (2)2 + (-2) = 4 – 2 = 2

f(2)= 22 + 2 = 4 + 2 = 6

f(3) = 32 + 3 = 12

f(-2).f(2) + f(3) = 2 × 6 + 12 = 24
