If $\frac{2}{3}$ of a number is 10, then what is 1.75 times of that number?

Let the number be x.
According to the question, $\frac{2}{3}ofx=10\Rightarrow \frac{2}{3}\times x=10$
On multiplying both sides by $\frac{3}{2},$ we got
$\frac{2}{3}\times x\times \frac{3}{2}=10\times \frac{3}{2}\Rightarrow x=5\times 3\Rightarrow x=5\times 3\Rightarrow x=15$
1.75 times of 15 = $=\frac{175}{100}\times 15=\frac{2625}{100}=26.25$
