Given equation of lines

x12=y1a=z04...(i)

Here a1=2,b1=a,c1=4;a2=1,b2=2,c2=2

Since lines (i) and (ii) are perpendicular
a1a2+b1b2+c1c2=0

2×1×+a×2+4×2=0
