According to Properties of three parallel lines & their transversal.

$\Rightarrow \frac{FD}{BD}=\frac{CE}{AC}$

$\frac{6}{8}=\frac{CE}{14}$

$\Rightarrow$ CE = $\frac{6}{8}\times 14$
CE = 10.5 cm
