Only a complete circuit would allow the flow of electricity. Here, we have been given three cases:

A) The circuit is incomplete, as only one terminal of the cell is connected to one terminal of the bulb. Therefore, the bulb will not glow.

B) The circuit is again in complete, as only one terminal of the cell is connected to both the terminals of the bulb. Therefore, the bulb will not glow.


C) The circuit is complete, as both the terminals of the cell are connected to both the terminals of the bulb. Therefore, the bulb will glow.
