Pineal gland: It is present in the brain and releases a hormone called melatonin, this hormone mainly has its role in the 24-hour rhythmic cycle in the human body and helps in improving immunity.
Pituitary gland: Also known as the master gland, this gland is located at the base of the brain and its functions mainly include regulating the functions of other glands, some of the hormones secreted by this gland include, FSH, LH, etc.
Thyroid gland: This gland is placed in front of the neck and secretes two hormones, triiodothyronine (T3) and tetraiodothyronine (Thyroxine, T4), which mainly regulates the metabolism of the body.
Thymus gland: This gland present near the heart, secretes a hormone called thymosin and functions primarily in providing us immunity.
