Solution

Let A, B, and C be three sets. If A ∈ B and B ⊂ C, is it true that A ⊂ C?

There is difference between element and subset.

Example: S={1,2,3}

Here, 1 is an element of S but not a subset of S. And {1}is a subset of S but is not an element of S.

1∈S

{1}⊂S

1≠{1}

1∈{1}

If A∈B, this means A is an element of B and {A}is a subset of B.
Since, {A}⊂B& B⊂C.

Therefore, {A}⊂C but A is not a subset of C.
