Solution

The correct option is A 1.0 m2/ Vs
Given:
Current =5 A
Resistivity of copper = 1.7×108 Ωm
Radius of cross-section =5 mm
Drift velocity is =1.1×103 m/s.

We know that, Charge mobility
(μ)=VdE [Where Vd=drift velocity]

Resistvity of conductor
(ρ)=Ej=EAI (j=I/A)

E=I(ρ)A

μ=VdE=VdAI(ρ)=1.1×103×π×(5×103)25×1.7×108

μ=1.0 m2Vs

Hence option (D) is correct.
