Let the height of the sixth player be x inches.

Mean=Sum of all data pointsNumber of data points

From the given statement, we know that the mean height of the six players is 71 inches.

Substituting the values, we get:
72+77+73+69+70+x6=71

361+x6=71

361+x=71×6
