Bond angle based on electronegativity of oxygen and sulphur
Bond angle in H2O is more because oxygen is more electronegative than Sulphur.
As compared to H2S the O atom is more electronegative in H2O than S in H2S.
This high electronegativity of Oxygen attracts the bond pair electrons towards itself much closer than in case of H2S.
Thus, electrons of O-H bond come closer and experience maximum repulsion due to which these bonds tend to go away from each other as much as possible.
But in H2S, electronegativity of S atom is much less and H-S bond electrons do not come much closer and not suffer much repulsion and hence bond angle is less for H2S in comparison to H2O.
