how to find buoyancy?
Buoyancy: It is the phenomenon by which an object with lesser density than the liquid immersed will float in the fluid.
Buoyant force: It is the upward thrust on a body immersed in a fluid. This force is equal to the product of the volume of the fluid displaced, density of the fluid and the acceleration due to gravity.
Suppose a body of volume ‘V’ is immersed in a fluid of density ‘d’.
Since, it is immersed fully the volume of fluid displaced is also equal to V.
The buoyant force on the body is = Vdg, ‘g’ is acceleration due to gravity.
