= 18x² – 24x – 4x + 32 – 32
= 18x² – 24x – 4x
= 18x² – 28x
= 2x(9x – 14)
Substituting x = – 2
6x (3x – 4) – 4 (x – 8) – 32
= 2(– 2) [ 9 (– 2) – 14 ]
= – 4 (– 18 – 14)
= – 4 (– 32)
= 128
